Based on your answers we suggest Tyrosine, B-Vitamins, Stress Support or Hyperforce!

Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that serves multiple functions in the body. It is particularly important in mitigating anxiety as it is involved in the production of neurotransmitters, including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are essential for transmitting messages between nerve cells and significantly influence mood.

It is believed that during periods of stress, the body may not produce sufficient tyrosine, contributing to the anxiety induced by the initial stress. Both animal and human studies suggest that supplementing with L-tyrosine could reduce anxiety, as well as enhance memory and performance under psychological stress.

Tyrosine is also crucial for the production of dopamine, often referred to as the 'happiness hormone.' Therefore, a deficiency in tyrosine can lead to lower dopamine levels, affecting happiness and potentially causing social anxiety.

Vitamin B Complex

B Vitamins are responsible for regulating the normal functions of the nervous system and the production of neurotransmitters. They focus on reducing tiredness and fatigue, as well as helping to regulate hormonal activity to support mental performance. A deficiency in vitamins, especially Vitamin B, is a common cause of stress.

B vitamins work independently but synergistically to relieve stress and calm anxiety. Riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12 primarily regulate the normal functions of the nervous system and the production of neurotransmitters.

Riboflavin (B2) is required in higher amounts for people under stress. This vitamin significantly aids the body’s natural coping mechanisms during stressful periods. Vitamin B2 assists in converting other B vitamins into their usable forms and strengthens the immune system, which can weaken under stress. Alongside Vitamin B1 and other nutrients, B2 also facilitates the conversion of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into energy. *Alcohol and smoking can deplete riboflavin levels.

Niacin (B3) supports the body's metabolism of fatty acids and energy release. It also plays a crucial role in promoting healthy neurons, controlling blood sugar, and reducing cholesterol levels.

Vitamin B6 is essential for the production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which are crucial for managing stress. It also boosts both the immune and nervous systems during stressful periods.

Folic acid (B9) is vital for managing stress. Deficiencies in folic acid can lead to psychiatric disturbances.

Vitamin B12 is instrumental in regulating the levels of homocysteine, an amino acid produced during protein metabolism.

Stress Support

Bio Advanced Stress Support has been carefully formulated to support psychological and nervous system function. This formula combines effective botanicals with synergistic nutrients such as vitamin B12, niacin, B6, and magnesium to reduce tiredness and fatigue, and regulate hormonal activity, which, when disrupted, can cause stress in the body.

Stress Support is an excellent starting point for those struggling to identify the source of their symptoms. It contains a wide range of beneficial ingredients, including:

Ashwagandha: This herb has been shown to substantially reduce cortisol levels. Cortisol, the stress hormone, increases when we are stressed and can cause long-term fatigue, mental fogginess, and damage to brain structures involved in emotion and memory when levels are too high.

B Vitamins: These are essential for regulating the normal functions of the nervous system and the production of neurotransmitters. They focus on reducing tiredness and fatigue and helping regulate hormonal activity to support mental performance.

Siberian Ginseng: Known as a powerful "adaptogenic" herb, it helps the body’s response to stress. Adaptogens assist in increasing resistance to stress, fatigue, and illness.

L-theanine & Lemon Balm: L-theanine, a unique non-protein amino acid found in green tea, blocks glutamate from binding to cells in the brain. It also affects other neurotransmitters, increasing levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), dopamine, and serotonin, while decreasing norepinephrine levels. These chemical changes may calm brain activity, promote positive feelings, and reduce anxiety.

Hyperforce

St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a wild-growing plant with yellow flowers. People take the herbal supplement to help with depression, anxiety, or sleeping problems.

St Johns Wort contains active compounds such as hyperforin and hypericin that are thought to influence neurotransmitters in the brain. These compounds help increase the levels of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, neurotransmitters that play key roles in regulating mood. By boosting these neurotransmitters, St. John's wort can enhance mood and provide a calming effect, which helps reduce stress.
